Challenge

The developer documentation needed to be easier to navigate and understand to support a self-serve payment integration experience. The main challenge was improving clarity and structure across content-heavy pages so developers could find relevant information and implement solutions with less friction.

Wireframing & structure refinement

I contributed during the iteration phase of the project, working under a delivery-focused timeline to improve the structure and usability of the documentation experience.

I redesigned documentation page templates to improve hierarchy, navigation, and content clarity at page level. Wireframes were used to explore alternative layout options, clarify content groupings, and define clearer separation between conceptual guidance and implementation steps.

A key focus was creating flexible, component-based template structures that could support different content types and help the team scale and maintain the documentation more efficiently in the future. This phase also included refining in-page hierarchy and left-navigation grouping within the existing platform structure to improve findability and reduce friction during integration.

UI design

Final UI designs applied the refined structure consistently across documentation pages, focusing on clarity and readability to support a more accessible self-serve documentation experience.
